This is a heavy sheep's wool jacket, the fabric dyed a rich plum with a twill weave. The northern sheep's wool used is generally rougher and larger than other wools in the region, making a stiffer fabric ideal for coats. It's naturally repellent of water and a great insulator. It has a few outer and inner pockets of various sizes, and has a thick enough weight for ample warmth under armor, despite not providing any. The buttons are made of simple carved wood.
