Serafim is a Varuchov Vykin and a potential companion. He can be found in Corem, near a couple of merchants. When meeting him the player can attempt to recruit him, but a very high nobility aptitude is required in order to be successful (5).
He is a very powerful character, having 3 extra stat points and 6 extra skill points for his level when compared to player-created avatars.
